SAL (Sam & Tal)

Collaborative mother
and son artist team

TAL – Talese Heckler, artist, teacher and mother. She comes from a family of creative individuals and learned early on to appreciate the artist's need to create and share one's artistic gifts with others.

SAM – Thirteen-year-old Sam is Talese's most fulfilling project to date. He shares the family passion for art and finds inspiration for his drawings in the planets, rocket ships, monsters, nose pickers, toothbrushes, happy guys and feathered friends.

SAL – Tal and Sam collaborate on many things in life. The freshness of Sam's drawings gave Talese the idea of incorporating them into her paintings. She has been painting with Sam since he was 5 years old. Their combined style is unique and fun, just like they are.

YOU – Talese and Sam hope their art will inspire you to explore creativity. Maybe it will just make you smile. That's OK too.
