Whicky, whacky, wonderful, venture into tunderful.
Find your way home, find your way home.   – Spiral Dancer

Have you ever heard the saying "Home is where the heart is?" I believe it is true. I have moved 22 times since I was born. There are many reasons for my moves: college, work, relationships, more space, smaller space, and so on.

In all of my moves, I realized that my true home was in my heart. With this thought, I could be at home, anywhere.

HomeWhen my son Sam was in 5th grade, he gifted me for Mother's Day a ceramic house he'd made at school. His house was yellow, green, blue and red. It had windows, a chimney and above the front door he glazed his date of birth as the address. This was a comfort to me, as it seemed he had the same belief as I.

The stylized image of the heart shape reminds me of home. The image is something that I never tire of. It's universal and shows up in much of my creative work.

I am pleased to announce that starting in 2010 I will be donating 10% of all sales with "heart images" to Art with Heart. This organization, founded by Steffanie Lorig, is a true advocate for healing at-risk youth and families through creativity and art.
